news Optimising crop yield in Kenya
Vegetable growers Brazander and Levarht will travel to Kenya for the third year in a row. The first week of March Arjan Levarht (Levarht) and Paul Zantman (Brazander) will travel and visit a number of educational projects for the Childslife foundation. During this trip they will be committed to sharing their knowledge about fruit and vegetables. By making use of the shared passion for fruit and vegetables, they will maximise crop yields and optimise the taste and quality of the crops.
The local project supervisor, Paul Sagut, will guide Paul and Arjan to projects in the Makueni region and the Mukuru slum in Nairobi. Childlife sets up projects to teach pupils from different primary schools in Kenya how to grow fruit and vegetables themselves. Together we want to increase the possibilities for an independent future. In addition to learning how to grow crops, Arjan and Paul will also ensure that the children from the neighbourhood can start working in a new way.
Would you like to stay informed about the Childslife projects? Arjan and Paul will share their experiences on our social media channels.
